
Pete Cowasji
Having Studied film and video at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, specialising in sound, Pete initially worked in music video production, before re-entering the world of sound, first for the facilities house Shift 4, before starting a freelance sound recording career working on diverse set of shows including Dirty Sanchez, Top Gear, The South Bank show and The Choir. More recently he’s move into the roles of sound supervisor, planning and implementing sound on fixed rig and multi-camera shows, including Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach and Hunted.

Callum Bulmer
Callum studied at the School of Audio Engineering in New Zealand before moving to London where he soon made a career in sound recording/supervising working on everything from documentaries to feature films, including commercials and extreme sports. He is also very much an all terrain recordist having working in locations such as the Arctic and Antarctica as well as Iraq, Syria and Pakistan. Callum now divides his time on both sides of the Atlantic, recent credits include the drama Suits and the reality show Shipwrecked.

Mark Somers
After graduating from Ravensbourne College with a BA hons in Broadcast production, Mark joined the kit room at Procam before eventually recording on show such as Dynamo Magician impossible, Deren Brown and French Collection. Since becoming freelance, Mark has worked with TSH on shows such as Just Tattoo of Us, Ex on the Beach and All-star driving school.

Tom Moore
Tom grew up recording music in a home studio, moving on to study Film and Television Production at university, consequently joining Procam as a trainee sound Recordist. Since leaving Procam, Tom has gone on to record on a variety of Reality, Obs Doc and Current affairs programming. Tom was Sound Supervisor on series 3 of the Real Marigold Hotel, and is currently supervising new BBC Interiors show The Best House in Town.

Seb Blach
Seb has a Batchelor of recording arts from Middlesex University and an Audio Engineering diploma from SAE in London. Hostile Environment First Aid Trained (HEFAT), PADI certified and a clean climber, Sebs credits include Bear Grylls Survival School, 24 Hours in the Past and Long Lost families as well as Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach, Hunted and Shipwrecked for The Sound Hounds.

Pat Calvert
Pat studied film and TV at Cambridge regional college, then started work experience on TOWIE before joining the facilities company Procam, where he worked on shows such as Dynamo and Made in Chelsea. Since becoming freelance, Pat’s worked on a range of TV, branded content and commercials, he has also been a regular with The Sound Hounds on productions including Geordie Shore, Single AF and House of Extraordinary People.

Graham Smith
Graham is adept at all forms of sound recording and is especially our go to man for any live broadcast requirements. Having been trained at the BBC, he’s had major roles on many technically challenging live projects such as IAAF athletics, Cycling, Comic relief and General election nights, as well as being a very popular feature for us on Geordie shore. Based in the Newcastle, Graham is our man in the North East.

Gil Wells
Studied English and fine art, before completing a technical course at Ravensbourne started in the industry working on BBC Factual Entertainment on shows such as tomorrows world and watchdog as well as shipwrecked and a place in the sun, Gils a Sound Hounds veteran having worked with us on EOTB, Geordie shore, Just Tattoo of Us and supervised both Make or Break and Shipwrecked.

Mat Adams
Salford with a degree in Media Technology, Mat has an extensive credits list, including The Island with Bear Grylls, The only Way is Essex, Escape!, Guy Martin in Russia and SAS Who Dares Wins. Mat is an all terrain recordist, is a climber and certified rope access technician, hostile environment trained and first aid qualified. Based in Manchester Mat is very much our man in the North West.

A J butterworts
AJ Butterworth, has worked on a wide array of productions from, reality TV to arts and working with some of Britain’s best know faces including David Attenborough, Julie Walters, Jamie Oliver, Karl Pilkington and James May. Having Graduated from Rose Bruford CS&D with a degree in Technical Theatre, not only, is AJ a very experienced Sound Records and sound supervisor, but he’s also a licensed drone operator.

Chris Box
Chris graduated from the Uni of the Arts in London having studied Sound Design. After doing a stint at Procam, Chris went Freelance and has since worked in Commercials and Tv including such shows as the The Charlotte Show, Tattoo Fixers, Million Pound Menu as well as Geordie Shore, Hunted and Make or Break for The Sound Hounds.

Dom Scrancher
Dom started at Procam where he managed the sound dept upon going freelance has mixed on such shows as Dispatches, Made in Chelsea and The Real Marigold Hotel, as well as Ex on the Beach and Make or Break as part of The Sound Hounds.

Olly Astles-Jones
Olly completed a media studies degree at PCL / University of Westminster and a sound course at Ravensbourne College before, working as sound assistant and boom op for renowned sound mixer Tony Dawe. As a recordist Olly’s worked on a huge range of projects including Banged up Abroad, Deep Water and Dangerous Roads, He’s also work with the team at The Sound Hounds on productions including Make or Break, Ex on the Beach Geordie Shore and All Star Driving School.

Greg Hagan
Greg has more than a decade of experience having graduated from De Montford University with a degree in Audio Recording, in that time, he’s recorded audio for many well know shows such as Top Gear, take me out and X Factor as well as TSH shows Make or Break, Shipwrecked and Geordie Shore.

Dave Hardy
Dave is equally at home behind a desk, a trolley, or with a bag. Llearning his trade at the Audio Dept, where he’s a regular on many huge shows including the Great British Bake Off and the Apprentice, since going freelance he’s put in a shift on any of our projects including Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach, Hunted and House of Extraordinary People.

James Whyard
James has over ten years of experience working in the industry as a sound supervisor, sound recordist, audio guarantee and comms engineer. He's worked on such shows as Derren Brown, Wild Things, Don't Hate the Playaz and One Night With My Ex as well as Geordie Shore with TSH.

Grant Studdart
Happy and easy going recordist with a wealth of experience and thirst for knowledge and adventure.
Grants broadcast life started in radio editing and mixing drama plays before moving briefly into post production to assisting with ADR sessions before settling in location sound. Now an experienced sound recordist and mixer working regularly on TV dramas, commercials, corporate projects, large scale reality shows and everything inbetween.

Micheal Ademilua
Micheal studied Audio and music technology BSc (Hons) at Anglia Ruskin university in Cambridge. After graduating, he secured a place at MAMA Youth project as a trainee sound recordist on a sky 1 show called What’s up. He later joined the kit room at Procam TV. Since becoming a freelancer, Micheal has worked on shows like Gold Rush, The Big Breakfast, Big Zuu’s Big Eat, Unseen Journey (Hector Bellerin documentary), Buss down Music video for Jorja Smith. He also worked on season 2 of Ex in the city for TSH.

Joey Slade
Joey is a sound assistant with a creative background and a passion for DAW’s and IT systems.
Repairing things from an early age he knows his way around a soldering iron.
Tackling problems with bespoke solutions he draws on knowledge of electrical engineering, applying technical + 3D design skills to quickly generate solutions.
Recently Joey has gained his Dante level 3 certification and has been rigging for several shows. He can often be found at the Sound hounds HQ, organizing jobs and collecting together gear.
